Issue Position

LESS TAXATION.

Lee signed the American's for Tax Reform, "Taxpayer Protection Pledge." He will oppose and vote against any and all efforts to increase taxes. American taxpayers are overburdened and need relief. Lee will support measures that reduce the tax burden on businesses and individuals.

LESS GOVERNMENT.

Big Government has taken too much control of our lives, and Lee will fight to reduce the regulations and bureaucracy currently coming out of Washington. He believes as did Henry David Thoreau, "That government is best, which governs least."

MORE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.

Lee believes our government is rightly limited in its powers and was not set up to solve each individual's problems. To limit government, everyone must take part in providing for themselves. Each person has the freedom to pursue a better life and can achieve it by taking responsibility and working hard.
