Issue Position: My Pledge of Allegiance to Vermont

Issue Position

1. I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

2. I will fight to make healthcare affordable to all Americans by allowing competition across state lines.

3. I will support legislation that will create energy self-sufficiency, potentially creating hundreds of thousands of jobs.

4. I will remain in the VA system for my healthcare needs rather than participate in the Cadillac healthcare program provided to those in Washington.

5. I will work to assure that the government "lives within their means" just like the rest of us, thus reducing the deficit.

6. I will NEVER sign any bill that violates the 2nd Amendment!

7. I will fight to protect individual property rights from the Federal Government.

8. I pledge to put Vermonters before special interests.

9. I believe that the life of the unborn is precious.

10. I believe in term limits of no more than 12 years.

11. Common Sense immigration reform will help reduce the deficit.

12. I pledge to provide our military with the tools necessary to achieve victory in the War on Terror.
