The Tax Foundation ranks Arkansas as 34th in income tax competitiveness, 39th in Corporate income tax, and 40th in Business Tax Climate. Our citizens are among the highest taxed per income, and our business are taxed higher than surrounding states. We are losing our businesses, their jobs, and their talent to surround states. I will work to fight higher taxes and support a bill by Rep. Ed Garner to cut the capital gains tax to encourage business and their jobs to come to our state.
