Congresswoman Betty McCollum (MN-04) issued the following statement in response to Israel's raid on a flotilla that was delivering tons of humanitarian supplies for Gaza.

"While the U.S. supports Israel's security, it is impossible to comprehend or make excuses for Israel's decision to confront and kill civilian activists. This unnecessary and preventable incident demands a comprehensive investigation by the international community fully supported by the United States."
