An educated citizenry is a nation's most valuable asset. Education boosts worker productivity, innovation and invention, and stability. It is the great equalizer, and indispensable to maintaining an international competitive advantage. Education should not be a government monopoly. Teachers, parents, and students should be held accountable to exacting standards of achievement. Learning is ninety-nine percent perspiration and one percent inspiration.
