Sessions: America Speaking Out is Power of People, Ideas

U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX) today applauded the release of America Speaking Out, an interactive program by House Republicans to engage the American people in developing a new national policy agenda.
"This Democrat Congress is best known for its commitment to ignoring the voices of the American people," said Sessions. "From the failed Stimulus to the National Energy Tax to Government-Run Healthcare, Democrats in Congress have proven their dedication to a big-government, job-killing agenda at any cost. The American people deserve better."

America Speaking Out features new communication tools -- including its website, AmericaSpeakingOut.com -- to work with the American people in setting priorities for a new national agenda. Through AmericaSpeakingOut.com, the public can submit, vote and comment on policy ideas and join their friends in sending Washington a message.
America Speaking Out follows the release of YouCut, another House Republican program where nearly half a million Americans have already voted for specific federal spending cuts.
"The Republican message is clear: we are engaging and working with the American people to return our nation to a path for prosperity," said Sessions. "Washington has failed to govern with basic principles of democracy, and now freedom-loving people all across this nation are standing up to reclaim America through policies that will grow jobs, rein in government, and make us safer.
