Issue Position: U.S. Constitution and the Second Amendment

Issue Position

I believe that the founding fathers knew exactly what they were writing when they composed the U. S. Constitution. I believe in a literal interpretation and that it specifically grants the powers that the forefathers intended. Regarding the 2nd Amendment, I believe that as American citizens we are granted the right to bear arms. It is our duty to protect our families and our homes. The gun control issue, at its core, is a struggle between the freedoms of the citizens of our country and control
by our government.
