Issue Position

Our national security is as important as any current issue on the minds of Arkansans, and that's because of the Jihadists. This radical group continues to go after our ideas, infiltrate our culture, strike fear in the hearts of our people, our lives and our land. September 11, 2001 changed our world and my record shows my vibrant support of our security.

Both as a mayor with regard to domestic security as well as a military man in uniform deployed to oversee security in the Middle East, I am the only candidate with this experience. I will dedicate time to honor our military members who fight with dignity, honor and pride in our armed services.

We must do more to protect our troops and make sure we're voicing our staunch support for those men and women fighting to defend our freedoms- against the Jihadists and other groups threatening our freedoms and the many aspects of life that make this nation so great.
