Issue Position

As a retired colonel and 30-year veteran with the Arkansas Army National Guard, Mayor Womack will be a strong voice for our national defense and veterans. He is proud of our support of freedom and democracy across the world and believes we owe no apologies for it.

Mayor Womack opposes granting terrorists the same rights and freedoms as American citizens. He will work to strengthen our national security both at home and abroad. Mayor Womack will fight to ensure that our military is the best manned, equipped and trained fighting force in the world.

Having commanded an overseas taskforce in 2002, Mayor Womack understands the impact of multiple deployments on soldiers, families and employers. As for our veterans, no one will be a stronger advocate for ensuring that our men and women receive all the support, benefits and healthcare they have earned.
