As a Mayor who has overseen tremendous economic growth in his city, Mayor Womack knows what it takes to get our economy moving forward again. He believes tax increases from Washington won't grow jobs, they'll kill them. Deficit spending isn't the way to stimulate the economy either. By adding to the deficit, Washington "crowds out" the capital businesses need to create jobs and make purchases. Instead, we need a fairer, simpler tax code that does not punish work and investment with high income and capital gains taxes.
