Congressman Pete Sessions (TX-32) today released the following statement regarding the "Contract from America " project:

" Washington has heard from the most powerful force in our nation: the American people. I applaud the Contract from America as the voice of many hard-working Americans rightfully demanding an end to job-killing taxes, reckless spending, and intrusive government, and a return to the principles that have made our country great.

"This bold grassroots initiative underscores the growing ultimatum from the American people for leaders in Congress who will stand up for freedom, job creation, and the prosperity of America through the free enterprise system.
