Washington, D.C. - Today U.S. Representative John R. Carter (TX-31), a State District Judge for 20 years, expressed
his disgust, for U.S. District Judge Phyllis Hamilton's partial-birth abortion ruling, in the following statement:
"Proponents of partial-birth abortion try to dehumanize this gruesome procedure by saying that a fetus is neither a human being nor a viable baby. A dear friend of mine's son was recently born prematurely during the 28th week-there is no greater proof as he is a healthy baby boy.
