Boozman Signs Repeal Pledge As Obama Signs Off On Government Takeover Of Health Care

President Obama signed flawed legislation overhauling the U.S. health care system as Members of Congress and the American people ask for a repeal of the law.

U.S. Representative John Boozman (R-AR) signed a pledge to repeal the legislation for real reforms that lower health care costs without growing government as the president signed the trillion dollar bill that cuts Medicare, raises taxes and threatens American jobs.

"This is a sad day for America when the president signs into law legislation the majority of Americans oppose. It is unfortunate that President Obama, Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid look at this as a reason to celebrate," Boozman said.

Boozman also announced that he will send a letter to Attorney General Dustin McDaniel asking Arkansas to join lawsuits against the federal government over the constitutionality of the health care overhaul legislation.
