America has more wealth and resources than any nation on earth. Despite the blow we took in 2008, America still has the strongest of economies. We are and will continue to be the world leader. The $780 Billion Economic Stimulus bill, well intended, had limited effect on actual economic stimulation and assistance to families on the brink of disaster. Millions of our fellow Americans have watched as a familiar way of life has disintegrated. John Lingenfelder, as your Congressman, knows first hand and has worked in situations where the devastation wrought by the sudden disintegration of family security has devastated real people. He knows what is needed is to get suffering Americans back to work.

Targeted Tax Cuts. John Lingenfelder will work to enact immediate tax cuts to middle and lower income taxpayers. These tax cuts will be paid for in full with taxation of the grasping CEO's and Wall Street titans who took hundreds of billions out of our economy over the last 10 years. Middle and lower income working people spend tax cuts on necessities and their children's education, increasing our national wealth. Republican tax cuts to CEO's and Wall Street result in taxpayer dollars spent to play in the stock market and have no meaningful, positive economic effect.

What is Good Stimulus. John Lingenfelder understands that quality jobs do come with targeted infrastructure projects resulting from wise federal government investments and assist in the rise of overall well being of America's people.

· Targeted infrastructure projects requiring professionals, such as, architects, professional engineers, and project managers.

· Targeted infrastructure projects requiring skilled trades and craftsmen.

· Targeted infrastructure projects that wisely provide an ongoing, measured stream of money into the community at a steady rate and for a long period of time.

Federal government investment in communities, meeting these wise goals, is a positive step that protects society, increase quality employment opportunities and creates wealth within our communities.

10% Unemployment. John Lingenfelder, as your Congressman, will work with his Congressional colleagues to separate the pork from targeted infrastructure projects. Errors from past stimulus packages, with short-term, semi-skilled labor busy-work, will not be repeated. Targeted infrastructure projects are long term, and create long term, meaningful employment in each of our communities. Such a program of unemployment relief will ensure that the stresses that seek to tear our families apart are abated. Such a program will protect the way of life of life for us and our neighbors.
