Today, Congresswoman Doris O. Matsui (D-CA) released the following statement on the 37th anniversary of the Supreme Court's ruling in Roe v. Wade:

"The choice to start a family is a deeply personal one that should be made by a woman in consultation with her doctor and family. I am committed to protecting a woman's right to choose as laid out in the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, and am actively working with my colleagues in the House of Representatives to do so."
