Sen. Cornyn Statement Following Today's Memorial Service At Fort Hood

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, issued the following statement after attending the memorial service today at Fort Hood:

"Today, we pause to honor the 13 killed, the many wounded and countless others affected by Thursday's senseless, violent attack at Fort Hood. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones who are struggling to cope with tragedy and loss. Those members of the Armed Forces that call Texas home are more than residents, they are family. Know that we stand with you not only today, but every day forward, in your search for answers and solace."
