Rep. Calvert Statement On The Commemoration Of September 11, 2001

Today Rep. Calvert (R-CA) issued the following statement in commemoration of September 11, 2001:

“Eight years ago, more than 3,000 people lost their lives in the attacks of September 11, 2001. Today we honor and remember the victims and heroes of 9-11. We renew our promise that we will never forget those who perished on that horrible day and that we will continue to pursue those who wish to bring harm to America. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of all those who died in the attacks in New York, the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. My thoughts are also with our troops around the world who continue to keep America safe and with their families who must bear their absence. May God Bless America.”
