Cassidy Announces Town Hall Meeting Schedule

Today, Congressman Bill Cassidy (R-Baton Rouge) announced the schedule for a series of Town Hall Meetings he is hosting over the Summer Recess.

"From reforming health care to rebuilding our economy, Congress is working on issues that affect every one of us in Louisiana," said Cassidy.

"I'm hosting these meetings to listen and learn. I work for the people of the Sixth District and I need to hear from them. By channeling the wisdom of the American people, we can deliver effective solutions to the challenges facing our country."

At his Town Hall Meetings, Cassidy will provide an update on recent legislative activity, discuss his support for fundamental health care reform that lowers costs by empowering patients, and lead a conversation about the values and issues important to those who attend.

Cassidy also holds regular telephone town hall meetings from his Washington Office when the House is in session and has previously hosted two Health Care Town Hall Meetings in Baton Rouge.
