Foster Releases American Recovery And Reinvestment Guidebook

Today, the office of Rep. Bill Foster (IL-14) released a guidebook for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The document will assist municipalities, non-profits and citizens in determining their eligibility for grants made available through the Recovery Act.

"I voted for the Recovery package because it contains targeted spending that is intended to directly stimulate various parts of our economy," said Foster. "Just this week, we learned that Fermilab is to receive nearly $35 million. This guidebook is a catalog of other available funds for those that qualify."

Added Foster, "Now that the bill is law, my staff will continue to serve as a resource for the 14th District, equipping constituents with the knowledge needed to take advantage of the opportunities available to worthy projects that will create jobs at home and grow our economy."
