Rep. Lucas Hires Oklahoma Native in Canadian County Office

The office of Rep. Frank Lucas, R-Okla., issued the following press release:

U.S. Third District Rep. Frank Lucas has hired a native Oklahoman to work in his Canadian County office.

Nicole Jarrell of Stratford, Okla. began work this week as Lucas' Staff Assistant.

"I'm glad to see Nicole join my team," Lucas said. "I've been fortunate to be able to hire talented people interested in working for Oklahoma that were from the state. They know firsthand the needs and concerns of my constituents and share their Oklahoma values."

As a Staff Assistant, Nicole will serve as the first line of constituent service for visitors and callers to the office. She will aid the congressman and other staff members with research, special projects and administrative tasks.

Nicole attended Stratford High School and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor of science degree in Design, Housing, and Merchandising. While she attended OSU, she was active in volunteer work with her sorority, and she earned a place on the Dean's Honor Roll. She was a recruit for OSU Career Services and was a recipient of an OSU Valedictorian Scholarship.

She previously worked for Zoller Design and Antiques of Tulsa and Grove, as well as Woody Design Associates of Tulsa. And she currently works at her part-time business as an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics.

Nicole is the daughter of Jimmie and Vickie Jarrell of Stratford. She is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Jewell Jarrell of Stratford and Travis and Vena Teel of Dill City.
