Congressman Courtney Releases Tri-Committee Draft Proposal for Health Care Reform for Public Review

Congressman Joe Courtney posted a section-by-section analysis of the House Tri-Committee Health Reform Discussion Draft today to provide his constituents with an opportunity to learn more about the health care reform proposal crafted by the House Ways and Means Committee, Energy and Commerce Committee, and the Education and Labor Committee. Congressman Courtney is a member of the Education and Labor Committee.

"This is an historic proposal that is still a work in progress, but it is important that my constituents have an opportunity to learn as much about this legislation as possible as it winds its way through Congress," stated Courtney. "I want my constituents to have time to ask important questions about how this health reform proposal might impact their lives or businesses and to offer their thoughts or concerns."
