Representative Lujan's Statement On President Obama's First 100 Days

Rep. Ben Ray Luján released the following statement on President Obama's 100th day in office. President Obama and Congress are off to a fast start, making job creation and economic recovery a priority while taking steps to ensure fairness in the workplace and expand children's access to health care.

"President Obama and Congress have taken bold steps to get our country back on track," said Rep. Luján. "President Obama and Congress inherited a difficult economic situation, and we have taken responsible and bold action. We have expanded health care coverage to children throughout the country, moved toward fairness in the workplace, and developed a blueprint for a prosperous future. There is a lot of work ahead and it won't be easy, but I will continue working with President Obama and fighting for the people of New Mexico during these challenging economic times."
