McCollum Calls on Reid to Seat Franken Immediately

Congresswoman Betty McCollum (MN-04) released the following statement in response to the state Canvassing Board certifying the final results in Minnesota's U.S. Senate race:
"I would like to congratulate Al Franken on his election to the United States Senate. Now that the state Canvassing Board has certified Mr. Franken as the winner of Minnesota's Senate seat, following an exceptionally transparent, bipartisan, and meticulous recount process, it is time for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to immediately seat Mr. Franken to ensure that Minnesotans have full representation in the U.S. Senate."
