SHAHEEN STATEMENT ON RETIREMENT OF JUSTICE SOUTER

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen released the following statement today following the announcement that Justice David Souter will be retiring from the U.S. Supreme Court:

"Justice Souter has made New Hampshire very proud, and I congratulate him on his many years of honorable service. It's been an honor for our state to have somebody with Justice Souter's integrity and intellect represent us so well, and I wish him the best as he finishes this term and on all his future endeavors."
