Snowe, Collins Announce Land and Water Conservation Fund Grants for Maine

U.S. Senators Olympia J. Snowe and Susan Collins (R-Maine) today announced that the National Parks Service Land and Water Conservation Fund has awarded grants totaling $98,100 to the Maine Department of Conservation, Bureau of Parks and Lands for recreation and conservation projects across the state.

"As Maine is world-renowned for its natural beauty and outdoor activities, it is vital that we continue to improve and support our state parks and public facilities," Senators Snowe and Collins said. "This funding from the National Parks Service will help keep our state clean and safe for visitors and Mainers alike."
