Senator Klobuchar Statement on Iranian Conviction of Roxana Saberi
U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar released the following statement today in response to the news that American journalist, Roxana Saberi has been sentenced to eight years in prison in Iran.
"This is an injustice, plain and simple. This young American journalist should not be used as a pawn in an international game. I will continue to push for Roxana Saberi's release using every means available, including the State Department and the United Nations. We must end this injustice and allow Roxana Saberi to return home."
