Gov. Rounds Announces South Dakota's Recovery Web Site

Gov. Mike Rounds announced today that South Dakota has activated its American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Web site, called Recovery SD.

"The citizens of our state deserve to know how the ARRA stimulus dollars will impact South Dakota," the Governor said. "This system provides that information in an easy-to-use, comprehensive format."

The Web site (http://recovery.sd.gov/) will be the central portal to South Dakota government information about the federal stimulus package. The site will be updated in real time, in the same manner as the financial data on OPEN SD.

Recovery SD will provide information about program certifications, contracts that are awarded and expenditure of stimulus funds, the Governor said.
