McConnell Statement on Partisan Spending Bill

U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell made the following statement Wednesday regarding the trillion-dollar spending bill:

"A partisan bill that spends a trillion dollars, including interest, of the taxpayer's money is going to make Americans wonder if it's worth the risk. And early reports on this latest version of the trillion-dollar spending bill only reinforce my view that it still misses the mark for stimulating the economy. This unprecedented spending of taxpayer dollars is not timely, targeted nor temporary, and it fails to address the underlying problems with the economy. American families know they have a limit on spending their hard-earned money, but now they must be wondering if the government has any limits on spending it for them."
