Moran Speaks to American Government Class at Stockton High School

Congressman Jerry Moran today visited Stockton High School to speak with a senior American Government class. During his visit, Moran discussed his responsibilities as an elected official, the presidential election and the current condition of the economy. He encouraged those who may be newly eligible voters to exercise their rights on November 4, 2008.

"It is so important for me to stay in touch with young people and to learn from them about issues they find important or are interested in discussing with me," Moran said. "This is a vital time right now for our nation because of the upcoming elections. I want to serve as a national outlet for them to provide answers to their questions on things that are going to affect them, such as on education, the economy and the future job market."
