Himes Praises Obama's Speech

Democratic candidate notes need for change in Connecticut

Tonight, in Denver, Senator Barack Obama delivered his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention. Jim Himes issued the following statement on the speech:

"Barack Obama made it clear that the choice this fall is between fresh ideas and failed policies. We know what we are getting with John McCain and Chris Shays - more of the same. I am proud to have Barack Obama's support, and look forward to working with him to change Washington."
