"Turner works to assure high quality and affordable healthcare"
Congressman Turner has been heavily involved in the effort to reform medical liability laws to safeguard patient access to care, keep the cost of medical care down, and ensure that talented doctors will remain in Ohio. He voted to prevent cuts to physicians who provide Medicare patient services, and worked to expand children's health care by voting to reauthorize and expand the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), which provides coverage for Ohio's children.
Mike is committed to ensuring access to quality health care for all. He voted in favor of legislation that provides important Medicare coverage for our seniors, and reached out to the community to enroll as many elderly as possible in the program. Additionally, he has secured funding for improvement projects at health facilities around the Miami Valley including the CARE House at Dayton Children's Hospital, Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, and Clinton Memorial Hospital.
