JOHN KENNEDY ON SUPREME COURT RULING: "MORALLY REPREHENSIBLE"

U.S. Senate candidate John Kennedy released the following statement on today's Supreme Court ruling rejecting the death penalty for convicted child rapists:

"Today's decision by the United States Supreme Court is morally reprehensible. Speaking for the liberal majority, Justice Anthony Kennedy said, ‘The death penalty is not a proportional punishment for the rape of a child.' That is outrageous. This is a wrong-headed, left-wing, activist decision that favors the perpetrators of a crime over its victims."

"There is no better example of the need to have conservative, not liberal judges on the United States Supreme Court."
