RISCH RECOGNIZED FOR CLEAN ENERGY EFFORTS

The NW Energy Coalition is commending Jim Risch, Candidate for U.S. Senate, for being a champion of clean, affordable energy for Idaho and the Pacific Northwest.

"This resolution recognizes you for your leadership promoting clean and affordable energy," said Patrick Judge, Chairman of the Board.

"Idahoans value their clean air and clean water," Risch said. "I thank the NW Energy Coalition for recognizing my leadership in clean energy efforts."

The NW Energy Coalition promotes the development of renewable energy and energy conservation, consumer protection, and fish and wildlife restoration on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. The Coalition is made up of more than 100 organizations, utilities, and businesses in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Montana. They include Idaho Rivers United, Idaho Conservation League, Idaho Rural Council, NW Energy Efficiency Council and many more.
