A Chance Meeting on "The Campaign Trail" Leads to an Unexpected "Endorsement"

I ran across a very interesting article while doing an Internet search a few weeks ago. Here's part of what the writer, John Foster, had to say:
"Kent still loves the political process and has stayed involved. His party may
have changed once or twice, but his love for this country and this state has not, and because one person made a difference in his life he's now trying to make a difference in the lives of others. We need to get that back. We need it in Idaho, and we need it in Washington."

Pretty nice "endorsement," wouldn't you say?

It will probably surprise you to learn that it was part of an article entitled "Why the Minnick/Sali race isn't about labels," written by Minnick campaign staffer John Foster following Kuna Days where Walt Minnick and I ran into each other while we were campaigning.

The article continues, "This race is bigger than labels. Whether it's Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or Independent, Idahoans are ready for real change in Washington, D.C. These are tough times, and people want serious, competent leadership -- someone who can get something done for Idaho."
