Mourning the passing of Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D-OH)

Congresswoman Betty McCollum made the following statement upon learning of the death of her colleague from Ohio and friend, U.S. Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones:

"Stephanie's death is an unbelievable tragedy and a tremendous loss for our nation, her Cleveland constituents, and all us who loved her. A powerful voice for justice in Congress, an extraordinary public servant, and a dear friend is the best way I can describe Stephanie Tubbs Jones. This is a profound personal loss and I will miss her as a leader and as very special person."
