Wicker Statement on J. Richard Barry's Nomination to U.S. District Court
U.S. Senator Roger Wicker today issued the following statement after President Bush nominated J. Richard Barry to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi:
"I am glad President Bush nominated Rick Barry to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi," Wicker said. "Rick is a well-respected professional in the legal community who I am confident will serve Mississippi well. I am hopeful the Senate will act on his nomination soon and confirm him quickly."
