Jeff Crank's Weekly Message: Where Jeff Stands on the War on Terror

Jeff Crank, Republican candidate for Congress in Colorado's Fifth Congressional District, today discussed his position on the need for completing the task in Iraq.

"I am thankful for the sacrifice of our men and women and their families," said Crank. "I believe that if America and its allies were to pull out now, Iran and other hostile powers are likely to step in and create an even greater danger."

Crank says staying the course and finishing the job is imperative. "Regardless of where you stand on the management of this war in the past, we have an obligation to look to the future."

Crank explained that the calls for retreat by Presidential hopeful Barack Obama and former candidate Hillary Clinton are very misguided.

"We simply must continue to prosecute the War on Terror. This threat won't disappear overnight but I believe that the emergence of a stable, prosperous and friendly Iraq is possible," concluded Crank.
