Jeff Crank's Weekly Message: New Vision for Smaller Government

Jeff Crank, Republican candidate for Congress in Colorado's 5th Congressional District, gave his weekly campaign message today on the need for a better vision for smaller government.

"As Republicans, we shouldn't be satisfied with the occasional victory to trim spending around the edges," said Crank. "We need a new vision for a much smaller government, and a leader who is willing to take the steps to get us there."

Crank explained his vision of working with Congressional colleagues to cut the size of the federal budget by 20 percent in 10 years, a proposal he first outlined during his victory speech at the Fifth Congressional Assembly in May.

"Until we unite behind a common vision of limited government, Congress will not resist the temptation to grow the size of government year after year. We can do better, and we will," said Crank.
