U.S. Congressman Tim Walberg (R-MI) today issued the following statement after the Supreme Court issued a ruling this morning upholding the PROTECT Act, providing greater protection against child pornographers. Congressman Walberg and 17 other Members of Congress signed a brief in the case, which the Supreme Court considered and ultimately agreed with.
"Child pornography is an unquestionable evil in our society, and I will do all I can to eliminate it," Walberg said. "I am pleased the Supreme Court ruled in favor of giving federal and state authorities the tools needed to punish child pornographers."
