Rep. Bill Foster Announces Congressional Team

Today, Congressman Bill Foster (IL-14) announced his first round of hires for his District and Washington offices.
"I am excited to bring on board an experienced team to serve my constituents," Foster said. "Together, we will bring Congress closer to the families of the 14th District."
Rep. Foster's newest staff hires include: Jason Linde, Chief of Staff; Tom Bowen, Director of Communications; Libby Masiuk, Legislative Correspondent; Matt Rado, Outreach Director; Dan McDonald, Deputy Director of Communications; Caroline Merkel, Scheduler; and Ruth Richardson, Constituent Service Agent.
Chief of Staff Jason Linde most recently served as Vice President of Public Affairs for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. He earned his Master's Degree at the George Washington Graduate School of Political Management, and received his Bachelor's from Syracuse University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Director of Communications Tom Bowen will work in Batavia and joins Rep. Foster from the campaign team where he served as campaign manager.
Legislative Correspondent Libby Masiuk will work in Washington D.C. and recently completed an internship with Rep. Patrick Murphy (PA-8).
Outreach Director Matt Rado will work in Batavia and joins Rep. Foster from the campaign team's DeKalb operation.
Deputy Director of Communications Dan McDonald will work in Batavia and joins Rep. Foster from where he handled communications.
Scheduler Caroline Merkel will work in Batavia and worked for Rep. Foster's campaign.
Constituent Service Agent Ruth Richardson will work in Batavia. She joins Rep. Foster's office after serving on Rep. Dennis Hastert's staff.
Since taking office almost three weeks ago, Rep. Foster has been busy. Rep. Bill Foster was elected March 8, sworn in March 11, and has already cast votes supporting lower taxes for middle class families and ethics reform. Last week, Rep. Foster met with mayors from all over the 14th District to ensure their needs are being taken care of in Washington.
