Congressman Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) today released the following statement.

"I commend Chairman Pallone and Ranking Member Deal and the Energy and Commerce Committee Health Subcommittee for reporting the bipartisan Conquer Childhood Cancer Act to the full Committee. This much needed legislation, introduced by Rep. Deborah Pryce and me, will enhance and expand pediatric cancer research activities at the National Institutes of Health, establish a pediatric cancer registry, and increase informational and educational outreach efforts to patients and families affected by pediatric cancer. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues in a bipartisan manner to enact this very important bill."
