Keeping Commitment to Accountability, McNerney Releases Appropriations

Today, Congressman Jerry McNerney (CA-11) released a list of the appropriations funding requests he made earlier this year on behalf of residents of the 11th District.

"I'm proud to release the list of project funding requests I made for infrastructure, education, public safety and economic development projects in the 11th district," said Rep. McNerney. "Last year I was among the first members to release a list of earmark requests and I am keeping my commitment to being open and accountable."

Submitting such a request does not guarantee any funding. With the tight budget picture and an important Democratic commitment to fiscal responsibility, many of these projects may not see any funding this year or may be funded at a lower level than requested.
