The Washington Post endorsed Cong. Chris Van Hollen in Tuesday's February 12th Democratic primary election for Maryland's 8th Congressional District, citing that his "political and legislative savvy have elevated him to the senior ranks of the House Democratic leadership after just five years in Congress." The Washington Post continued, stating Cong. Van Hollen "is clearly superior to a handful of other candidates running in both party primaries; he should be a shoo-in for reelection."
