DeLauro Announces 3rd District Uncollected Tax Refunds

Washington , D.C. - With holiday shopping in full gear, Congresswoman Rosa L. DeLauro ( Conn. -3) issued a list of almost 200 residents of the 3rd Congressional District who have not collected their tax refund. The IRS recently announced that nearly $110 million in tax refund checks remain undelivered. At least 115,478 taxpayers nation-wide are due refunds, averaging about $953. The funds can be delivered as soon as taxpayers update their addresses with the IRS.

"Families in Connecticut are facing more and more pressures on their incomes and if these taxpayers have overpaid, they deserve their money back. I would urge everyone to take a few minutes to see if they are owed money and their name is on this list," stated DeLauro.
