DeLauro to Undergo Hip Replacement
Waterbury , C.T. - The office of Congresswoman Rosa L. DeLauro (Conn.-3) announced that DeLauro will be undergoing a routine joint replacement for benign arthritis of the hip on November 27, 2007. Dr. Kristaps Keggi, a Yale University Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, will be performing the operation at the Waterbury Hospital . Her recovery is expected to be rapid and complete. She will be able to resume a normal life and a full political schedule in a matter of weeks.
