Sen. Klobuchar Statement on Announcement by U.S. Attorney Rachel Paulose

U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar released the following statement after learning that Minnesota U.S. Attorney Rachel Paulose accepted a new position at the United States Justice Department in Washington, D.C.:

"As Hennepin County prosecutor I worked closely with the Minnesota US Attorney's Office for eight years. I have always been impressed by the dedicated prosecutors in the US Attorney's Office and I have been very concerned with the turmoil in the office over the past year. I am pleased that the Minnesota US Attorney's Office is moving forward under new leadership. I hope this will be the last chapter for our state when it comes to the legacy left by Alberto Gonzales."
