WALBERG CALLS ON SPEAKER PELOSI TO MOVE THE VETERANS FUNDING BILL

Washington, Oct 23 - U.S. Congressman Tim Walberg (R-MI) today calls on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to allow the Veterans Funding bill to move forward. It has been 130 days since the House of Representatives passed the Veterans' Affairs and Military Construction Appropriations bill, yet Speaker Pelosi has refused to appoint members to the House-Senate conference committee so the legislation can move forward and become law.

"Funding for our Veterans is a top priority for me. Speaker Pelosi needs to stop the stalling tactics when it comes to providing care for our brave Veterans and soldiers," said Walberg.
