U.S. Senator Mike DeWine: Reaction to BRAC Guidelines

"Although vague, it appears most of the concerns Senator Voinovich and I expressed in a letter to the Department of Defense, with the exception of overall vulnerability due to geographic location, were addressed in the BRAC guidelines that were released today. Ohio's military and civilian communities are uniting behind their local bases in order to emphasize the unique strengths and contributions served by Ohio's defense community. It's also worth noting that the President's recently released budget request includes $28.846 million for military construction projects in Ohio."
