Capito Applauds Outpatient Medical Facility for Veterans in Braxton County

Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) released the following statement today applauding news that the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center will open a new Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Braxton County.

"This is great news for veterans in Braxton County," noted Capito. "This new clinic will help ensure that our state's rural veterans receive the outpatient care they need without forcing them to travel very far to get it."

In June, the House approved a measure offered by Rep. Capito to provide $5 million to help open the Office of Rural Health within the Department of Veterans Affairs.
