Republican Leader: Sen. Craig's decision ‘difficult,' but ‘the right one'

U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell made the following statement Saturday regarding the resignation of U.S. Sen. Larry Craig:

"Senator Larry Craig made a difficult decision, but the right one. It is my hope he will be remembered not for this, but for his three decades of dedicated public service."
